Methodology
Rolling resistance: pressure curves, rim width and surface
Where tire Crr comes from and how setup changes it.
Lab data
Tire figures come from independent drum testing at several pressures. WattGap interpolates between tested pressures rather than assuming one number.
Setup modifiers
Rim width, tube type (tubeless, latex, butyl), temperature and road surface each adjust Crr. Front and rear are weighted by load (about 42/58).
Mechanical losses
A small drivetrain and bearing loss is added on top so total resistance reflects a real bike, not just a tire on a drum.
